We've been big fans of the Tokyo-based brand 'Taion' for a few years now and with good reason too. A direct translation of 'body temperature' from Japanese to English, 'Taion' certainly do a good job of helping you regulate that when the weather starts to drop a bit. Specialising in down-filled mid-layers with a military-inspired finish, Taion is a welcome addition to the Universal Works roster.

The Military V-Neck Down Coat by Taion has a long-line, mid-thigh straight cut with a two-way zip front and v-neck style finish; it also has two zip-adjustable slits on the side to aid movement. Produced in a 5mm square ripstop fabric with 800 fill power down/feather insulation the fabric has been onion-stitched and quilted for warmth and finished in cotton piping. It also features two front handwarmer pockets: one front snap-lock patch pocket with a side-entry concealed pocket.
